Contract Terms

  1. All stored caravans, motorhomes, boats, trailer (trailers for recreational use only) must be secured as per the conditions of the insurance policy in respect of the stored item.

  2. All personal effects and valuables must be removed from the caravan, motorhome, boat or trailer, and the windows and door to remain locked during the period on site.

  3. All gas bottles to be disconnected whilst on storage. No other noxious, dangerous, hazardous, or explosive goods are permitted on site.

  4. Access to the site is between the hours of:- Easter to end of September. Monday to Saturday 8.00 – 20.00 Sundays 9.00 - 20.00. Or Dusk if earlier October – Easter Monday to Saturday 8.00 - 16.00. Sundays 10.00 – 16.00. Access at any other time by arrangement only.

  5. Movement Cards must be filled in each time your stored vehicle is removed and returned.

  6. Do NOT allow another vehicle to enter or leave the compound on the use of your fob. Stop to allow gates to completely close before moving away from gates.

  7. All stored vehicles to be parked correctly within the allocated plot. Grass pitches, vehicle must be stored centrally on positioning slabs. Failure to do this, will result in us asking you to return immediately to reposition.

  8. All stored vehicles must be insured and kept insured during the period of storage. Proof of insurance must be shown at time of renewal.

  9. Any stored vehicle must be removed at least once a year, kept clean, as it will not be allowed to stay on site in an uncared for condition, and the allocated plot area must be kept tidy and no litter left behind. No blocks for steadies to be left in grass while your plot is vacated.

  10. No trading is permitted from within the compound, and caravans, motorhomes, boats or trailers must not be offered or advertised for sale while on site without the proprietor’s permission. However viewing of your proposed sale vehicle can be shown out of the compound in designated area only.

  11. No stored vehicle must be inhabited during the storage period.

  12. No repairs to be carried out on site without the permission of the proprietor. Yearly servicing may be carried out on site in designated area only, again notification required. 

  13. The annual rental is (see table of charges) payable in advance, the proprietor has the right to alter the rental by giving due notice to the plot holder. 

  14. In the event of the storage fee being overdue, the proprietor will retain possession until the arrears are settled in full or otherwise discharged. The proprietor undertakes to notify possession by recorded delivery. 

  15. In the event of a negative response to possession, legal action will be taken to sell the caravan via The Torts Interference with Goods Act 1977. The outstanding arrears will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale, as will any costs incurred. Any remaining balance will be retained to await your collection. The proprietor will seek to obtain the best price available based on current market values. 

  16. The proprietor excludes all liability caused by Vermin Infestation, a recognised vermin control regime is in place and is monitored regularly. 

  17. By entering into this agreement, the plot holder warrants that he/she has both ownership and legal title in the stored goods namely the caravan, motorhome, boat or trailer. 

  18. In the performance of this agreement, the proprietor will, at all times, act with due diligence in providing secure storage.

  19. The proprietor will only be held responsible for statutory legal responsibilities. 

  20. Any changes to the details provided by the plot holder in this agreement to be notified to the proprietor without undue delay. 

  21. The proprietor must be notified in writing if the plot holder wishes to vacate his plot. Failure to do this may result in a charge being payable. 

  22. All caravans, motorhomes, boats or trailers are stored at owners risk.
